A short pause....for your consideration

Sorry to distract from the project but there is something very important to me that I would like to share with you all.

You may know by now that I have bad health. I suffer from a illness called M.E.
This illness is very misunderstood and is easily judged as something to belittle. Not only from the media and the public. But also from health professionals, care workers and the government agencies set up to protect us.

I myself was put through the court systems of social services because I was miss judged and deemed to be making my illness up.
I am still haunted by the effects today and do not go to the doctors for this reason. I have many symptoms that could be possible be helped. But because of misunderstanding and a lack of belief, they are not.

Recently a movie was made, showing the plight of many people with M.E. The struggles they go through. And the unbelievably sad circumstances that can happen from them.

I would like anyone who can to watch this movie. It is not long and will not take much out of your day. But it will I hope, help towards your understanding and enlightenment of this terrible dieses.
It is called Voices from the Shadows and can be purchased here

Please, even if you can’t watch this movie, at least watch the trailer and maybe pass it on to your friends.

I cannot possible do this movie justice, or even put into words how important it is to me. So I shall leave it to the capable hands of one who can.
This is a review of the movie and one of the best pieces on this subject I know of by Scott J Harris.

Thank you for your time and business will now resume........

No Jar Due to Me Getting Old

So I'm taking this week off for one reason only. I'm getting older.
Around this time last year I got older, and I thought it's only fitting that I do the same thing again this year.
Now as I celebrate just about anything, including a new pair of socks. I thought I'd celebrate getting old. Only thing is, with all this celebrating, I get shattered, so Jar Number.....(looks it up) 33, will go out next week once I have recovered from all the merriment and more importantly Haribo!

Happy non Hunting!

Jar 31

Jar Number 31

Contents: Glass Paint
Released: 10-2-2012
General Location: Bradley Stoke North, BS32
Status: Missing 11-2-12

Pretty simple jar this week as I have been very tired. It's also been so cold that this one didn't make it very far from my house. Too cold for a walk so I just wandered around till I found somewhere.
I then had the perfect opportunity to place it further a field the next day. So I almost went to break one of my own rules. Go get the jar and replace it, but someone didn't want me too as the jar had gone.
I think this is the first time I've reported a jar missing before originally putting it up on the site....

I would say Happy Hunting but there is nothing to hunt till next week...unless you feel like looking for some others still out there.

Jar Number 30

Released: 3-2-2012
General Location: Patchway, BS34
Status: Missing 18-3-12

Another Jar that almost didn't make it out. The weather turned freezing and I thought I'd have to take another break. But with a bit of luck it warmed up a tad on Friday and so this one made it out.
I'm sort of giving the location away on this one but who cares. I was talking to someone about the fact I was meaning to get the Jars more far a field. Now being that one of the rules is that I can't place one on a moving thing. ie train, bus or airplane. I thought, well why can't I put one at a station.
This got me thinking a bit, as most stations round here have security, that means you can't get on the platform without a ticket. So i goggled stations around me, and finally found a unmanned one.
I wanted to put it on the platform, but there were a lot of people about and I was chicken, so it ended up by the platform. I may go back another time and place one on the actual platform.  I hope a passenger will find this one and take it on a adventure somewhere.
Please if you find it, report it. I've had a lot just go missing lately, and although this project isn't all about the jars being found. It is a wonderful thing when they do.

Happy Hunting!
