I've been in a bit of bind this week. I'm only 13 weeks in and I'm starting to get creative block. I have a few ideas and some Jars made up but I don't particularly like them or think they are of any merit. I was lucky with this one as I was just playing around and the idea came to me. But i was up against the wire, I didn't make it till late Thursday night. I really want to carry on with this project. I feel in my life that there is very little to be proud of. I achieve very little of note. But to start a project and see it through, to me is a achievement .
I don't know why I feel the need to achieve so much, I guess it's because as a sick teenager I never got to achieve much academically or anyway really. I try to make up for it now but I am limited still.
Anyway back to my point.....I am creatively blocked. This I suspect  has a lot to do with the fact that I am trying to hard to create something. I just need to let go and see what happens. Easier said than done though when I have so little control over my life.
I shall leave my brain to ponder this problem and stop boring you.
For now I leave you with this Jar.

Jar Found

Jar Number 12 Found

Jar 12 didn't take long to be found.......and found twice :)
First by Mike, my friendly dog walker dream came true. But thinking it was some kind of game he very sweetly left it so not to spoil the fun.
It was then found by yet another dog walker Laurence this morning.
Thank you, both of you. It makes my day to find a email from a jar finder, and today I was lucky enough to wake up to 2.

Free Hugs to you both!

Jar Number 12

Jar Number 12

Jar 12 took a while to make, it seems my coordination (or rather lack of it) doesn't quiet gel with cross stitch.  But after much unpicking and mistakes here it is.
After the sad news of Jar 6, this jar went in a bit of a obvious place, in hope that some nice dog walker will spot it and give it a nice home.

The Untimely Death of Jar 6

The Untimely Death of Jar 6

So here is a post I was hoping I would never have to write. But here we are folks. I have the very sad news that Jar Number 6 is no more.
On a Jar walk, I walked past Jar 6 hiding place, to find it gone. As it was in a nice quiet part of the village I was hoping it was now safe in someone's home.
But alas, as I continued on I spotted a piece of green wire, and then a few steps more another and another and another. Until I had found the entire contents of this Jar.
I will admit to being a little heart broken,
Why would someone do that?
It's obvious what they have done, all the wire was stuck the the lid. They have spotted the jar, picked it up. And as they walked along they have pulled each piece out and thrown it on the floor.
But why I have no idea.
If they didn't want it why didn't they just leave it for someone else to find?
Did they think it was litter?
Well it has a obvious note on the top, with this web address and a a little smiley face saying 'you can keep me if you like me'.
Maybe they collect Jars to fill with jam?
Or they are avid recyclist?
Either way there is nothing I can do about it now. All I can say is please anyone who finds a Jar, if you do not want it, please leave it for others to find.

Here is what is left of Jar Number 6.

And so I leave you a disheartened Jar Maker.

Jar Number 11

Jar Number 11

So the idea of a mirror jar had been mulling round my head. I thought it would be a bit eye catching. But how do I get a mirror inside a jar????
Then I thought of tiles and so this jar was born
As luck would have it my mum ordered a new camera, so I could take a decent close up of the tiles. I love how you can just about see your distorted reflection when you get close enough.

This Jar was placed while Balloon spotting on Brandon Hill. It is the 33rd Bristol International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta this weekend. I can't go to the actual event as I am not well enough. But there is a park in the centre of Bristol that has a great view over the whole thing. So the family and I went to have a little look and got some great views.
There were so many this year even though it was over cast.

Jar Number 10

 Jar Number 10

Double digits woop, to be honest I didn't know if my attention span would even get me this far but all is well so far.
This jar is a variation on a theme I'm going to do. So far a few of my jars have been in tree form in one way or another and here is another. I just love moulding the wire to my will and coming up with pretty shapes. I cannot beat mother nature in her beauty of inventing trees, but as they say 'Imitation is he best form of flattery.

New angle for a photo, the birds eye view. Mainly because my camera was refusing to focus from any other angle. I really should upgrade.

My first 5am jar walk, insomnia comes in handy when placing jars. This one is in such a place, that I would have had a lot of odd looks in the day time. As it was a taxi was rather interested in me taking photos and going behind a barrier. I suspect I did look rather odd though as I was still my PJ bottoms.
You can tell it is summer holidays and the kids are out of school. See what classes as entertainment in this neck of the woods.

Jar Found

Jar Found

Jar Number 5 was found by Earlfez last Sunday. Spotted on it's side, it seems someone or something moved it, mysterious.
The Jar will now live on a shelf in his shed beside similar jars.

Thank you for reporting it and i hope you enjoy it.
